Our agriturismo is located in Carro, in the Val di Vara, known as Italy's first organic valley.

It's the ideal place for those who love nature, peace and authentic Italy -  away from mass tourism, yet close to the coast and main attractions.

Liguria: between the mountains and the sea

Liguria is a region full of contrasts: within 30 minutes you van drive from the beach to the mountains. The coast is famous for its colorful seaside villages, while the inland valleys offer peace, forest trails and the taste of real rural life.

From Ca du Chittu, you can:

• hike in the morning,
• swim in the sea in the afternoon,
• and enjoy a peaceful evening surrounded by nature.

The Cinque Terre and the Ligurian coast

Just a 30-minute drive away are the five famous seaside villages of Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore.

You can reach them by train, boat or on foot along spectacular hiking trails.

Nearby you'll also find:

• the seaside towns Levanto, Bonassola and Moneglia;
• sandy beaches and crystal-clear coves;
• the maremonti cycle path, following an old railway line.

From the agriturismo, you can start directly on hiking or biking trails. You'll walk through forests, along rivers and across ancient paths with stunning views.

The landscape is lush, hilly and peaceful - a perfect place to reconnect with nature.
